There are people across Northeast Louisiana who haven’t found Always Uplifting 88.7 The Cross yet. People who need encouragement, connection, practical help, and the hope found in Jesus. We believe there are opportunities in front of us to reach more of them. But turning those opportunities into reality takes people who believe in the mission.

During Impact Days, we’re inviting you to help us take three important steps forward.

Bringing hope to communities we haven’t been able to reach.

Imagine driving down a familiar back road and, for the first time, being able to clearly hear Always Uplifting 88.7 The Cross. A song that encourages you. A story that reminds you you’re not alone. A message of hope right when you need it.

For some people across Northeast Louisiana, that isn’t possible today. Our signal simply doesn’t reach their community, or the reception is too weak to hear us consistently.

We have opportunities to change that.

Through potential new FM translators and other signal improvements, we could strengthen our coverage and reach families, neighborhoods, and communities that haven’t been able to experience 88.7.

But expanding our reach requires significant investment in engineering, equipment, planning, and regulatory approvals. We need to be prepared to pursue these opportunities when they become available.

Not everyone discovers hope the same way. Some people find it through a familiar worship song. Others connect through the Christian music they grew up with, a message spoken in their own language, or a story that meets them right where they are.

We have opportunities to reach all of them.

Technology is opening doors for Always Uplifting 88.7 The Cross to create additional digital listening experiences, reaching people beyond the limits of a traditional radio signal.

Imagine a listener rediscovering the Christian songs that shaped their faith. A younger generation connecting with a different style of Christian music. Or a Spanish-speaking family, new to Northeast Louisiana, discovering encouragement and the hope of Jesus in their own language.

Through additional music streams, spoken-word programming, and partnerships with trusted Christian ministries, we could create new ways for people to experience the stories, songs, and connection at the heart of our mission.

But launching these new listening opportunities requires an investment. Each new format brings technology, programming, music licensing, and ongoing operating costs. And to serve these audiences well, we need the resources to build something that will last.

The opportunities are there. But we need your help to turn them into reality.

Because the message of hope doesn’t change. But the ways we share it can keep growing.

Sometimes a song is exactly what someone needs.

Other times, they need someone to pray with them. Someone to listen. A resource to help them through a difficult season. Or simply to know they aren’t facing life alone.

We want to be more than a station people listen to. We want to be a ministry they can turn to.

Through our daily devotionals, prayer ministry, local church relationships, community outreach, and new opportunities to connect people with helpful resources, we want to build a community where encouragement doesn’t end when the radio turns off.

Imagine someone reaching out for prayer and finding a community ready to stand with them. A family facing a difficult situation discovering local organizations that can help. Or someone taking their first step toward a relationship with Jesus because of a connection that began with a song.

Growing this kind of ministry requires time, people, technology, partnerships, and financial resources.
