Songs are a very important part of what we do at 88.7 The Cross. Each song is chosen specifically and flows through multiple guidelines that we use as we choose our music.

We know that musical tastes can vary greatly from individual to individual so it is impossible to please all people all of the time. However, our desire is to make sure we are playing the best songs and hope that we play the majority of your favorites as you listen. We want to be the soundtrack for your life each day.

Therefore, we are committed to filtering our songs through the following criteria:

1. Does it declare something about the character of God?
2. Does it express our need for His mercy & grace?
3. Does it uplift and encourage you in your daily walk?
4. Does it tell a story that can be used to point you to who God is?
5. Does it express who we are as a ministry?

There are obviously many other things that go into our decision-making process, but rest assured, we pay careful attention to the songs we play and we hope that they touch your heart as you listen.
