Make a Difference in the Next Generation

The Chamber is recruiting community and business leaders to serve as mentors in the 2026–2027 Chamber Mentorship Program, an eight-month program beginning September 14, 2026, and concluding April 6, 2027. Mentors will connect with high school students to help them discover their strengths and interests, explore career and education opportunities, build confidence, and create a practical plan for their future. No teaching experience is required—the Chamber provides the curriculum, activities, and discussion guides. Mentors simply bring their experience, encouragement, and willingness to listen.

Important Dates and Times:

Mentor Orientation -Tuesday, September 1st at 1:00 PM or by Zoom on Thursday, September 3 at 6:00 PM.

The Program Kickoff – Monday, September 14th from 4:00–5:00 PM.

All in-person student sessions will be held at The Commons Building at the Ouachita Parish School Board offices in West Monroe.
