The Louisiana Department of Health is hosting a Harvest & Health Fair where families can shop for fresh, locally grown produce from Big Daddy Farms, connect with local organizations offering valuable community resources, and learn more about public health programs and services available to families. ULM nursing students will also be on hand to provide blood pressure checks.

Big Daddy Farms accepts SNAP/EBT, and shoppers using Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) benefits can ask about Greaux the Good, a program that can help stretch benefit dollars by providing twice as many fruits and vegetables.
