We’re falling in love with teaching again, and it shows!

We are professional development for the heart! We understand the importance of providing meaningful, actionable support to educators! Led by the mission to support the St. Christopher Educational Fund, a 501(c)(3), which provides high-impact professional development that prioritizes teacher recruitment, retention, and resilience. We foster mental health awareness by building emotional wellness and self-care strategies to make sure teachers have what they need emotionally to continue to execute their job responsibilities. We showcase vendors, resources, and opportunities for teachers to draw upon our community experts to bring real-life scenarios into their classrooms to make learning fun and informative. The feedback from our attendees has resulted in shifts of presentations each year to serve the educators who show up for the symposium. Many have shared that their decisions about ‘continuing in the classroom’ were directly impacted by their attendance at the NELA Teacher Symposium.

The 2026 NELA Symposium is happening Thursday, July 16th from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm. The St. Christopher Educational Fund organization was created with the passion of bringing value back to the classroom and ESPECIALLY to the teacher. Our experience in education stretches farther than 3 decades. Our board members are well versed and seasoned in education, business, mass communication, nonprofit organizations, health care, construction, technology, and marketing. Our growth speaks for itself. We are having to move to a larger venue to accommodate our audience! We’ve reached classrooms in 5 states by empowering 400+ educators and 6,000+ students in only 3 years! Registration is now open!
