This year’s Business Expo will showcase over 100+ local vendors, each offering a window into the products, services, and innovations driving Northeast Louisiana forward. Whether you’re looking to make business connections, learn about local services, or just enjoy an evening out — the Expo is for you. And that’s not all — thousands of dollars in door prizes will be up for grabs, including everything from TVs to gift cards. Just show up and sign up to win — no purchase necessary!

Don’t forget to bring a friend (or two)! You might just walk away with a prize…and some new favorite local finds!

Join us for a family-friendly community event!

The free public event will feature a stunning display of 250 American flags alongside immersive historical scenes, patriotic experiences, and live portrayals of iconic American figures including Abraham Lincoln, Pocahontas, Rosie the Riveter, Uncle Sam, Betsy Ross, Phillis Wheatley, and Paul Revere.

Families can also enjoy face painting, balloon artists, snow cones, hot dogs, and a photo booth.
This event offers strong opportunities for community features, live morning-show segments, advance event coverage, and on-site reporting tied to local patriotism, summer family activities, and the nationwide America 250 celebration.
Live visual storytelling will recreate defining moments in American history, including Betsy Ross sewing the first American flag, our Founding Fathers with the Declaration of Independence, as well as Lady Liberty herself- the Statue of Liberty, just to name a few. We hope to see you there!

Bonne Idee Assembly’s Young Adult Group, CONSUMED, will host a Back-to-School Bash for K-12 students throughout the Mer Rouge and Morehouse area. Students will have the opportunity to receive school supplies, food, and an interactive field day-all at no cost to them. Additionally, students will be entered into a drawing to win prizes like bicycles and gift cards!

We anticipate nearly 500 students and their families will attend. This event aims to equip local children with school supplies for the upcoming school year and provide families with a relaxing afternoon of fellowship. The event is open to the public, free, and does not require registration.

If you’d like to contribute supplies to this great event, please reach out to Leeann Robinson or Kaleb McLarrin at consumednxtgen@yahoo.com.
