Drive/Walk Thru Passion Play

Lea Joyner Memorial Methodist Church will once again present a live-action performance of the events leading up to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ on Sunday, April 13, and Monday, April 14, starting at 7 PM each night in the parking lot in front of the church.

Visitors can drive or walk to each of four scenes. Each scene is around 4 minutes long.

Lea Joyner Church is at 4390 Old Sterlington Rd. in Monroe.

Franklin Parish Churches Present: The Living Last Supper

A collection of churches in Franklin Parish invites the community to experience “The Living Last Supper,” a moving reenactment of Jesus’ final meal with His disciples, brought to life through music and the spoken word. This special event will take place on April 17th at 6 PM at Temple Baptist Church.

Combining dramatic performance with stirring musical elements, “The Living Last Supper” allows attendees to step back in time and witness the moments leading up to Christ’s sacrifice. Through powerful narration and heartfelt portrayals, this event offers a unique and reflective way to prepare for Easter.

Admission is free, and all are welcome to attend. Join us for an evening of worship, reflection, and inspiration as we journey through one of the most significant events in history.
