Northeast Louisiana Veterans Association (N.E.L.V.A) is a private nonprofit organization that benefits veterans and veteran organizations. This year, they are hosting our Third Annual Crappie Derby which will take place on April 13th, 2024, at Hooks Marina on Caney Lake.

N.E.L.V.A will donate a portion of the proceeds raised by the tournament and t-shirts to a local little hero named Cypress. Cypress is 6 years old and was diagnosed with Stage 4 Neuroblastoma in December of 2023.
