MISSION AND INSPIRATION
The purpose of the Dry Bones Men’s Conference is to reach men in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Mississippi. We want to challenge and encourage men in deepening their relationship with Christ and be who He has called them to be!
Our goal is to bathe this valley of dry bones with God’s word and to raise a vast army of men that can turn this country around. The inspiration was taken from Ezekiel 37, where God took Ezekiel to a valley full of Dry Bones, representing a dead nation of Israel. He asks Ezekiel if he believes these bones could live. He commands Ezekiel to prophesy, or preach the word of God, over these bones. As he did this, the bones were revived and arose to form a vast army.
Because there is a valley of dry bones in our nation…the men here are in need of the Word more than ever!
THE MISSION TEAM
Three Iron Nails Ministries is a nonprofit organization with the goal of primarily ministering to men. Its founder and president, Jeff White, is the leader of the men’s ministry at Mangham Baptist Church, where he serves as a deacon. Jay Mulhern, treasurer of Three Iron Nails is a member and deacon of Swartz First Baptist Church. Ward Ellerbe, who serves as the secretary of Three Iron Nails is also a member of Swartz First Baptist Church.
CONFERENCE LINE-UP
Pastor Joby Martin. He is the founder and lead pastor of The Church of Eleven22 in Jacksonville, Florida. Since launching the church in 2012, he has led a movement for all people to discover and deepen a relationship with Jesus Christ. In addition to providing The Church of Eleven22 with vision and leadership; Pastor Joby is an author, national and international preacher and teacher. He has been married to his wife, Gretchen, for over 20 years and they have a son, JP, and a daughter, Reagan.
Pastor Ike Byrd. He was born in New Orleans, graduated from Ferriday High School and completed his university studies at Northeast Louisiana University (now ULM). Ike worked in the plastics industry retiring in 2004. A humble man who loves all people, Pastor Ike has been the pastor of Mount Zion Baptist Church for over 25 years, gaining his Bachelors and Master of Theology in 2019 and 2020 respectively. Pastor Ike has advanced the Kingdom by serving in various community and religious organizations in Northeast Louisiana. Married to Angela, Ike has 3 children and 5 grandchildren.
Pastor Rick Aultman. Rick graduated from Oak Grove High in 1979 and from LA Tech in 1984. After working in various fields of construction, Rick went on to earn his Masters degree from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in 1990. Pastor Rick has been a faithful preacher and teacher to Northeast Louisiana for over 30 years. Since 1993, he has been the pastor for Mangham Baptist Church. Rick married his wife Jean in 1987 and has 3 children, Nathan, Daniel and Rebekah.
Blake Davis. Blake was born and raised in West Monroe. He has been leading worship for over 20 years and began his ministry at North Monroe Baptist Church in 2005. Blake serves as the Worship Pastor for NMBC. He and his wife, Kelli, have been married since 2006 and have two children.
