Our maintenance man and his wife lost their home and all of their belongings today when lightning struck a tree behind their house and set the house on fire. The fire traveled too quickly to get anything out. Carroll will turn 70 this month. He had added onto the house and made a lot of improvements, but had not gotten the insurance company out to update his policy, so it is very unlikely there is enough to replace the home – much less to pay for the contents.
They are a faithful Christian couple and Carroll tirelessly works to help others. He often works 7 days a week so he can help the people in his church and his friends. Now this servant of God needs people to help him.
We have started a GoFundMe page to try and help him out. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated!
