$128,795 donated this week by YOU … the listening family of 88.7 The Cross to help us launch The All New Power 927.FM : Positive Hip Hop and R&B!! it was short of the goal, but still an incredible outpouring of generosity & an encouragement from The Lord to press on in our mission of reaching THE NEXT GENERATION for Jesus Christ, through broadcasting and music. The vision is simple:  we need to let kids and young adults know that Christian Hip Hop and R&B music exists, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with them as they listen, and help them love those in our community as they walk a path of discipleship.  If you’ve listened to the messages contained in the music being put out by the mainstream recording industry, you are probably nodding in agreement that a counter-message is desperately needed.  The All New Power 927.FM is going to do that every day.  And, with your support from the fundraiser, we head into 2015 confident!

Again, if you’re already a supporter of 88.7 The Cross – either monthly, or as an annual donor – and you weren’t able to pledge your giving during the Fall Fundraiser, we’re asking you to consider another gift this year, or an increase in your monthly giving, to power this ministry into 2015!  To run another radio station for a year will take about $15,000 each month – or $180,000.  That was the goal.  That’s the need.  We fell a little short of that, but you gave a total of over $125,000 so far!  Please, prayerfully consider that while 88.7 The Cross is already your station; it’s time that teens and young adults had their own station as well.  Your gift of support during the Fall Fundraiser will go directly toward operating BOTH ministries for the rest of 2014, and the start of 2015.  This is a faith journey we are on.  Your generosity in donating will serve not only as a tool that God will use to tangibly keep The All New Power 927.FM on the air, but as a spiritual encouragement to all who listen, and to those of us working day and night to make this a reality for your kids.  Thank you!
