DESCRIPTION:The Louisiana Cancer Foundation is having a FREE Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening event October 13th and 14th (by appointment only)\nThe Louisiana Cancer Foundation offers FREE public cancer screenings\, open to the community\, to promote public awareness and early detection. You must be 40 or over and have not had a mammogram in the last year for a mammogram or between the ages of 25-65 for the cervical screening. \nCall or email Jennifer Zimmerman at 318-460-1006 or jennifer.zimmerman@lacancerfoundation.org to schedule your appointment. This event is sponsored in part with funding from the Cancer Foundation League\, the Living Well Foundation\, Origin Bank\, proceeds from the MAD-Dash 5k\, and Union General Hospital – who also graciously hosts the mobile mammogram unit at their location.
