DESCRIPTION:Make a Difference in the Next Generation\nThe Chamber is recruiting community and business leaders to serve as mentors in the 2026–2027 Chamber Mentorship Program\, an eight-month program beginning September 14\, 2026\, and concluding April 6\, 2027. Mentors will connect with high school students to help them discover their strengths and interests\, explore career and education opportunities\, build confidence\, and create a practical plan for their future. No teaching experience is required—the Chamber provides the curriculum\, activities\, and discussion guides. Mentors simply bring their experience\, encouragement\, and willingness to listen. \nIf you’re ready to invest your experience in the next generation and help a student move from potential to purpose\, complete the Mentor Interest Registration Form today. Register today by clicking the link under the website description. \nImportant Dates and Times: \n Mentor Orientation -Tuesday\, September 1st at 1:00 PM or by Zoom on Thursday\, September 3 at 6:00 PM. \nThe Program Kickoff – Monday\, September 14th from 4:00–5:00 PM. \nAll in-person student sessions will be held at The Commons Building at the Ouachita Parish School Board offices in West Monroe.
