More than sparing change…

I have recently learned exactly what it feels like to reach out to someone. I have helped people before, but never felt this awesome about it. I had gone to Subway and gotten a subway sandwhich. When I walked out this man looked at me and asked if I could spare some change. I never carry cash, so I really did not have any on me.

Well, I walked right next door to get some chips and a drink. When I walked out I felt this tug on my heart and without even thinking i walked over and handed this man my chips and said, “Do you like Cheetos? Here you go. Yyou have a wonderful day.” The smile on that mans face was so heart warming.

I have never felt so amazing before in my life.

I have never felt so amazing before in my life. I mean to reach out and help someone like that here around Christmas time. Everyone jumps in to do the toy drives and coat drives, which is wonderful don’t get me wrong, but most people look right over the people that are right under your nose. It is as though we want to help them, but fear facing them.  I didn’t.
