Change Your Station, Change Your Life

Sitting at my desk one day, I pondered the words “Change Your Station. Change Your Life.” and tried to
figure out what to write as we start a new year. I began thinking about how there was a point in time
where radio station ministries didn’t exist. God putting this type of media into the mind of someone and
using it as a ministry to spread the gospel has changed many lives.

Since 1999, 88.7 The Cross has stood as a beacon of hope, light, and love for the families of Northeast Louisiana, not only providing music, but community support and investment. The staff may change over time, but I can assure you the mission God placed on hearts years ago has not changed.

The heartbeat of the ministry is tied directly to the Great Commission. 88.7 The Cross staff, board members, and other partners in ministry go into homes, cars, workplaces, and other parts of the community that would be otherwise unreached. God uses the hope of the gospel through the music and service to others to ultimately change lives.

“The mission of 88.7 The Cross is to encourage and strengthen believers in their relationship with Christ and introduce non-believers to Jesus Christ.”

As we are embarking on our 24 th year of ministry to Northeast Louisiana, I encourage you to prayerfully
consider how God would have you get involved with His work. Are you interested in volunteering? Is
God laying it on your heart to join the giving family? Are you a prayer warrior for local ministries? Have
you experienced lasting change due to God’s work through 88.7 The Cross?

“The one who plants and the one who waters work together with the same purpose. And both will be rewarded for their hard work. For we are both God’s workers.” 1st Corinthians 3:8-9

Thank you for listening, giving, and praying for the ministry of 88.7 The Cross through the years. We look
forward to serving you in 2023!
