Jeremiah J. Beck – General Manager
Jeremiah was born and raised in Southern Wisconsin. After high school, he went to work in a factory, where he met his wife, Teka. In 1997 they became parents – welcoming their daughter Abigail into the world in December. He began his career in radio broadcasting in 1998. His wife and he accepted Jesus Christ as their savior on the same day in 1999, and six years later God led Jeremiah to Christian radio ministry. Sheryl Ford – Donor Relations/Morning Show Cohost
Sheryl grew up in Baton Rouge, but has lived in NELA for over 10 years, and loves all things Louisiana. The oldest of three girls to a single mom, she fits all of the “oldest child syndrome” stereotypes. As the Donor Relations Director and Morning Show Co-Host, a full time marketing student at ULM, and a momma to Lexi & Harleigh (her 4lb Maltese and much larger Rottweiler) she stays very busy (thanks to a serious coffee addiction) but wouldn’t change a thing. Naomi – Mid Morning Host
Naomi (we call her “Nay”) is a preacher’s kid, originally from Orlando, Florida, but has called Northeast Louisiana home for the past 18 years. 88.7 has been her home for 12 years! She is a singer, songwriter, vocal coach, dog lover and follower of Christ. Naomi is very transparent about her walk with the Lord… battling depression and anxiety, as well as walking thru the heartbreak of divorce and the birth of new love, Naomi’s passion is for women’s ministry. Mike Kankelfritz – Kinda Early Afternoon Host
Mike grew up in Seattle, Washington, and in high school, he got his start in radio at a high school station. He’s moved all over the country, working in about every type of radio station; country, rock, light rock, and finally, but relented to God’s plan for him to be in Christian radio. He’s married to his super hero, Becky! They believe that God is still in the healing business, and they have two amazing kids, 14-year-old daughter, Abby Grace, and 8-year-old son, Sam.
Bobby Lenox – Operations Manager / Afternoon Host
During his senior year in high school, Bobby got his first job in radio. He headed north to Monroe for college, where he graduated from Northeast Louisiana University (ULM). Bobby has been in broadcasting for 20 years in the community. He and his wife, Kelly, have three children. Their daughter, Elizabeth, lives in Orlando, while two sons, Ryan and Luke keep them running at their West Monroe home. They attend Pine Grove Church in Monroe, where Kelly serves as Children’s Church Director. Bobby enjoys sports, cooking, weekend getaways with the family and a good audiobook! Bonnie is a radio veteran of more than 20 years, is married, is a mom of two girls, and who loves to laugh and encourage others. Regina Blake-Millican – Office Manager
Regina was born and raised in Ruston, LA and has 11 siblings. She is married to a pastor and they have a daughter and 3 sons. Regina is the worship leader, teacher for women and young adults at her church. She believes that walking in faith is the key to her life. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 18:21. Ralph Songy – Weather Forecaster
One of Six siblings, Ralph is a New Orleans Native, who grew up obsessed with with Weather, which led him to where he is today: One of the highest-regarded Weather Forecasters in radio. In his spare time, he enjoys painting still Life, seascapes and landscapes. He enjoys spending time with friends and family, watching movies, reading and visiting bookstores. Jenny Remsberg & Chrys Howard – “It’s A Mom Thing”
Jenny Steffins Remsberg grew up fifth of seven in a singing family, and still sings to this day. She has four “+1” children ~ one married, and three teenagers. Before joining the It’s A Mom Thing staff, Jenny hosted the Mid Day show on The Cross for three years, while teaching Voice lessons. A previous Home School Mom of thirteen years, she has operated as a single mom for the past 8 1/2 years. Chrys Howard and her husband, John, have three grown children and eleven grandchildren. She is the author of nine books and served as a senior editor and the creative director for Howard Books, a division of Simon & Schuster, for ten years. Kurt Wallace – Host of “The Weekend Top 20 Countdown”
Kurt Wallace started his radio career at Greenville College and has worked in Christian radio for 31 years, which is amazing since he’s only 35.:) He also has his own radio voice-over business and is heard on stations from coast to coast. By his own admission, Kurt married the loveliest, most patient woman in America, Amy. They have four children and two dogs…if you count toy poodles and chihuahuas as “real” dogs! Andy Chrisman – Host of “Worship with Andy Chrisman”
Andy Chrisman has been in the Christian music industry for over 25 years, both as a solo artist and as part of the Dove Award-winning group, 4Him. He now serves as Worship Pastor at Church On The Move in Tulsa, Oklahoma. One of the things Andy enjoys most about his job nowadays is the chance to spend less time on the road and more time at home with the people he loves most: Jackie, his wife of more than 15 years, and his two children. Rob hails from Boston, Massachusetts and now makes his home in Rocky Branch with his wife, Ora, and their 3 children, Gannon, Aiden and Emerson. Joneal Kirby – Host of “Heartfelt Radio”
Dr. Joneal Kirby, Host of “Heartfelt Radio,” is the blessed wife of 30+ years to Randy and the mother of 3+2: two sons, one “daughter-in-love” and “son-in-love.” She also has been overwhelmingly busy in the past few years with the addition of three grandsons to her family. Her funniest times are spent with them. She also loves her sweet black lab, Maggie and her two palomino quarter horses. Tim (or as we call him, “TC”) has been here since the beginning of The Cross and – starting in early 2000 – became the webmaster and local Christian happenings guru for 88.7.
